Morgan Wills and the writer and curator Sacha Craddock will speak in-coversation on Wednesday 7th September | 6.30pm – 9pm
Morgan Wills is currently exhibiting his first solo show, 12 Conversations, at Sid Motion Gallery. Morgan will speak in conversation with the independent art critic, writer and curator Sacha Craddock on the 7th September, from 6.30pm. The talk will start at 7pm.
Sacha Craddock has been Chair of the Board of New Contemporaries and the selection process since 1996, she has been familiar with Wills’ work since he was selected to exhibit at New Contemporaries in 2015. The conversation at the gallery will explore being a young artist showing in a commercial gallery for the first time, and how the work has progressed in the early years of Wills’ practice.
Morgan Wills (born 1992) studied Painting at Wimbledon College of Art, graduating in 2014. His previous exhibitions include ‘Sorry About Last Night’, at The Washington, Sheffield; ‘Versions’, at Benevolent Association of Excellent Solutions, London; Bloomberg New Contemporaries, 2015, at ICA, London and Backlit Gallery, Nottingham; MK Open, at MK gallery, Milton Keynes, and ‘Assembly’ at Triangle Gallery, London. Wills was shortlisted in 2014 for the HIX Award, shown at CnB Gallery, London.
